The majority of modular buildings will require a tie-down anchoring system of some description to prevent sliding or turning over in high wind conditions. This is a requirement in both cyclonic and non-cyclonic regions of Australia. If required Ascention can provide a geotechnical site survey to be carried out to determine the ground conditions for the tie down design method.

Our consulting engineers will use the geotechnical report to design the site specific building tie-down anchors. If final anchor proof testing is required, we will supply an authorised technician from a NATA endorsed testing authority to perform the tests and supply an official NATA test Certificate.
